What distinguishes Tucab from its competition?

Following the audit carried out by TÜV Rheiland, the service provider in the area of ​​certifications, Tucab earns another certification.


The recognition of the NP EN ISO 9001: 2008 standard was given to the company in the design, commercialization, production and delivery of products for the gas sector, central vacuum, civil construction, automobile and domestic use.

In addition to the certification audited last March, Tucab also counts on the authentication by Certif, a national certification body, for the Tugás brand (http://www.tucab.pt/en/Tubos/Tugas) .

The registered trademark of Tucab, according to Certif, is in compliance with the standard NP 4436: 2005 and also with the standard EN 16436-1: 2014 + A1: 2015.

The first standard concerns the tube of the Tugás brand with an inside diameter of 12 mm and an outer diameter of 18 mm and a maximum working pressure of 50 mbar (thousandths of a bar).


And the EN 16436-1: 2014 + A1: 2015 concerns the tube with 8 and 9 mm inner diameter in white with orange list. With a maximum service pressure of 0.2 bar and minimum and maximum service temperatures of -20ºC and + 70ºC, respectively.


Also in March, the Technological Institute of Gas (ITG) carried out tests on the propane and lira tubes, which awarded Tucab another compliance, according to EN 16436-1: 2015.


Tucab maintains its certified quality policy at the top of its list of priorities.
