When Tucab chose to make huge investments to produce tubes for the hospital medical area and filaments for 3D printing, I was far from imagining that one day these two areas would be decisive in saving lives in Portugal, as is happening today with the pandemic created by COVID-19.
Being the only company certified in the Iberian Peninsula to produce tubes for the medical-hospital area in a clean room, Tucab is prepared to continue supporting the front line in this fight, not only with tubes for the medical area, but also with filament for 3D printing, which, in fact, as the only manufacturers in Portugal, was decisive in defending healthcare professionals when the Maker Movement developed and printed thousands and thousands of visors.
In addition to the extrusion lines and the clean room where production takes place, Tucab also invested in the company's certification in several areas: ISO 9001, 13485, 14001, 14644, 45001, NP4457 and EN 16436
We also produce technical tubes in PET G, phthalate-free PVC, TPU, SEBS, PA, PP, PE, etc.
