ATL Armazém das Tropelias visited TUCAB: a morning of discoveries, innovation and smiles!
Today, July 24, 2025, TUCAB had the pleasure of welcoming ATL - Armazém das Tropelias to its facilities, in a special visit designed to awaken children's interest in technology, production and sustainability.
A factory that extrudes creativity
As soon as they arrived, the young visitors were greeted enthusiastically by the TUCAB team, who accompanied the entire route with energy and good humor.
During the visit, the young people explored:

The production line for tubes, profiles and seals;

The “white” room, where medical tubes are manufactured;

The quality control laboratory;

The filament area for 3D printers;
Raw Materials and Finished Products Warehouses;
Recycling and waste reintegration area;
Eyes lit up when they saw the filaments being wound in real time, and many They wanted to know how the extruder works and how the molds for the final products are created.
3D Printing Workshop: learning to play
At the end, the children were able to observe an educational 3D printing workshop, where they can print and take home small pieces created with recycled filaments from the Fil2ndLife range.
The initiative showed that it is possible teaching with technology and creating with environmental awareness.
