The Luso-French Trophies 2021 are an initiative of the Luso-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILF), which distinguishes the best companies based in Portugal and France, of all sizes and in various sectors of activity.

The Luso-French Trophies 2021 are composed of six categories: Investment, Export, SME, Sustainable Development, Innovation and Startup.

Taking into account the sustainable practices that we adopt, on a daily basis, in our production process, and also taking into account the great investment we make in innovation, we decided to compete for the Sustainable Development Trophy and the Innovation Trophy.

And it was with great excitement that we received the news that we were one of the 3 finalists in the Innovation Trophy, where we competed with our project Fil2ndlife.

O projeto Fil2ndlife, tem como grande objetivo eliminar os desperdícios de plástico da impressão 3D, tornando o mundo 3D mais amigo do ambiente. É um projeto inovador em Portugal e no mundo, porque além de garantirmos a recolha dos desperdícios mediante a disponibilização de um local para serem colocados, garantimos o seu reaproveitamento para a produção de novos filamentos.

TUCAB made a big bet in the development of the Fil2ndlife project, from the idea to making it possible to have a filament manufactured with 3D printing waste. And this nomination is the culmination of much effort and dedication of TUCAB in creating innovative and sustainable solutions.

The awards will be presented on 28 October 2021, during a Gala Dinner, at Espaço Sud Lisboa, chaired by the Minister of Economy (to be confirmed) and by several other personalities from the economic and political world.
